confern was founded in 1967 by 12 established German moving companies. The aim was to support one another, make better use of available transport capacity and reduce unnecessary empty runs wherever possible. This idea of working together as a network continues to shape confern today. 

Currently 60 partner companies from all over Germany belong to the confern - group. 2,000 employees organize more than 40,000 moves a year, from planning and execution to final quality control.

The development of confern continued in 2002 with the founding of Eurovan Deutschland GmbH and the associated establishment of an international network. More than 50 partner companies currently stand for international competence and optimal service. Other service areas such as new furniture distribution, storage, file archiving and 2-man logistics round off the portfolio.
